Bring me so much joy and satisfaction.

I love watching our flowers grow and bloom. I love having fresh flowers in the house. I love the pride of having grown them and arranged them ourselves.

I garden for bouquets on my table and flowers at my mailbox.

That’s why I garden.

Eggplants in!

Two fairy tale and two Hansel and Gretel.

Late start

Finally getting two cherry tomatoes (Sungold) and two peppers (red bell and p—) into planters. Eggplant starts are growing slow apparently this year so they’ll be even later.

Kaphine is trying strawberries again this year – she’s hoping putting them in hanging pots will make them chipmunk proof. We’ll see.

Finally, kale. Moved back to the sunnier spot, we hope. And basil and rosemary.
